The video for Major Lazer’s heavy track “Night Riders” shows Travis Scott spitting rhymes near a street fire. The hook is as intense as his surroundings: “All I need is a gas and a lighter/ And we’ll have one hell of a time.” The video focuses on a woman who boxes by day and works as a stripper by night. At the end of the evening, she finds her way back home to her young daughter.
“Night Riders” is from the group’s 2015 album Peace Is The Mission. The song features contributions from rappers Pusha T, 2 Chainz, and Travis Scott in addition to a brusque reggae verse from Mad Cobra.
The success of Peace Is The Mission helped put Major Lazer in the position to play an historic concert in Cuba earlier this year. That performance drew close to half a million fans.
