Red Hot Chili Peppers have unveiled an appealingly stripped-down new track named “We Turn Red” in advance of their upcoming album.
The Getaway, the band’s 11th studio effort, hits stores next Friday (June 17) and has already been preceded by the lead single “Dark Necessities” and the spacey title track.
With the singer happily recovered from a medical scare that knocked them off the road for a bit, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently traveling the European summer tour festival circuit. So far, their only scheduled stateside appearance is July 30 at Lollapalooza in Chicago, but it’s highly logical to expect them to announce some form of U.S. tour in support of The Getaway.
