AFI has officially announced their new album, titled *Silver Bleeds the Black Sun*, set to release on October 3. This will be the band’s 12th studio album and follows their 2021 release, *Bodies*.
The band aimed to create an album with a unique mood—dreamy and ethereal. They explored influences that have always been part of their sound but are now more prominent. The result is an album that feels both timeless and fresh, blending classic sounds with a modern twist.
The lead single, “Behind the Clock,” is available now, and you can check out its music video on YouTube.
