BENEE Unveils Upcoming Album Titled ‘Ur An Angel I’m Just Particles’

BENEE, known for hits like “Supalonely,” is back with a new single called “Cinnamon.” The song drops today, along with a vibrant music video featuring BENEE in stylish auburn fur across different locations. Her new album, Ur An Angel I’m Just Particles, will be released on November 7.

BENEE shared that she has been working on this album for about three years and is excited to finally share her second project. She said, “I worked so hard on this and had a really clear story for the album. I’m so proud of it—it means the world to me!”

“Cinnamon” was co-written with her friend Ryan Raines, who she calls “an incredible producer.” BENEE explained that she wrote the song about her experience moving to LA and feeling lost in the chaos. The chorus offers a sense of release, as she aims to stay positive despite challenges. She added, “I got my friend Sora to play the cello in the bridge, which I LOVE. I cry sometimes when I listen to that part. And it’s such a fun song to perform live!”

BENEE first gained attention in New Zealand with songs like “Glitter” and “Soaked.” Her international fame skyrocketed with “Supalonely” during the 2020 pandemic. In 2022, she released an EP called Lychee, featuring tracks like “Doesn’t Matter” and “Beach Boys.” Earlier this year, she teased her upcoming album with the single “Off The Rails.”

You can now order BENEE’s Ur An Angel I’m Just Particles on vinyl or CD!
