Billie Eilish, who has won multiple Oscars for her movie songs, might soon make her acting debut. She is in talks to star in a film adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s classic novel, The Bell Jar. Plath, a talented poet and author, wrote the book in 1963 under a pseudonym. It was published just a month before her tragic death at age 30.
Oscar winner Sarah Polley will write the screenplay and direct the film. However, it’s still unclear which role Billie will take on.
Billie recently received positive reviews for her acting in the 2023 Prime Video series, Swarm. Fans are excited to see her take on a new challenge in the film world.
In addition to her acting news, Billie’s concert documentary, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D), which she co-directed with James Cameron, is set to hit theaters on May 8.
