They joined rappers Offset and JID to perform their song “Bodies,” which samples Drowning Pool’s iconic track of the same name. During the performance, Drowning Pool played their version while Offset and JID delivered their verses.
Drowning Pool shared their excitement on Instagram the next day, saying, “Last night was INSANE! Massive thanks to everyone that made this happen, who watched, screamed, and felt the energy with us.” They also dedicated the performance to their late frontman, Dave Williams, saying, “This one was for Dave. Always with us.”
In addition to the collaboration with Offset and JID, Drowning Pool’s “Bodies” was recently remixed by the electronic duo SOFI TUKKER. Fans are loving the new takes on this classic song, and it’s clear that Drowning Pool continues to make waves in the music scene.
