Billy Corgan, the frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins, recently appeared on the popular online show Track Star. Hosted by Jack Coyne, the show challenges guests to quickly identify different songs. Corgan was played tracks like “Shout It Out Loud” by KISS, “Limelight” by Rush, and “Disorder” by Joy Division.
Towards the end of the episode, Corgan discovered that there are two bands named Goose and Geese. He joked, “They should have a fight. It should be Goose versus Geese, and winner take all.”
Currently, Corgan is performing a series of shows at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. These concerts celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Smashing Pumpkins’ iconic album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
