Avatar has just released a new single titled “Airwaves.” The Swedish metal band describes their music as a constant challenge. They always strive for more and explore new ideas. In their latest track, they focus on one of metal’s key elements: speed.
“This is the fastest song we’ve made in what feels like forever, and it feels great to push ourselves again,” the band shares. “It feels like a return to something special. Enjoy our rage.”
The music video for “In the Airwaves” is now available on YouTube, starting with a flashing lights warning. The song will be on streaming platforms starting Thursday at midnight ET.
“In the Airwaves” follows their previous release, “Captain Goat,” which came out in May. The band’s latest album, “Dance Devil Dance,” was released in 2023 and features the single “The Dirt I’m Buried In.”
Avatar is also gearing up for a U.S. tour this November, so fans can look forward to seeing them live soon!
