Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery will not be joining the band for the first part of their upcoming European tour. In an Instagram post, Lowery explained, “It’s a hard decision that I had to make but the right one for the season of life I’m in currently.”
He shared that he will miss some shows due to family commitments and health concerns. “I’ve done this since I was 18 years old and have loved touring,” he wrote. “At this stage, I have to prioritize my family and well-being. Support my @sevendustofficial brothers. I will join them soon to finish it off.”
The European tour kicks off on January 15 in Hamburg, Germany, and runs through early March. The tour will support Alter Bridge and also feature Daughtry. While Lowery is away, Tim Tournier will step in to play guitar for the missed dates.
Fans can look forward to seeing Lowery back with the band soon!
