Cold Postpones Tour Dates Due to Family Health Issue
Cold has announced the cancellation and postponement of several tour dates. This decision comes as frontman Scooter Ward’s mother is recovering from a stroke. In an Instagram post, Ward shared that his mother suffered the stroke in January while he was visiting for the holidays.
“She pulled through, but it’s been a tough few months for her,” Ward wrote. “I’m so thankful she’s still with us. She’s finally feeling a bit better, and things are looking more positive.”
Ward decided to extend his stay to help his parents during this challenging time. “I had to make the tough choice to delay the start of the tour,” he explained.
The affected tour dates were set for April 15 to May 2. Fans can find a list of canceled shows and new dates for rescheduled performances in Ward’s Instagram post.
