Dee Snider approves of Sebastian Bach filling in for him in Twisted Sister

Dee Snider, the frontman of Twisted Sister, is clearing up some rumors about his health and the band’s upcoming shows. Earlier this year, he stepped back from the reunion tour due to health concerns. However, he recently took to social media to reassure fans that he’s doing well.

In his posts, Snider said, “For a retired 71-year-old, I’m great. But I’ve only got so much tread left on these tires.” He explained that he wants to save his energy for the rest of his life instead of trying to prove he can still perform like he used to. “I would’ve been a shadow of my former self out there anyway,” he added.

Snider also addressed the rumors about his retirement, stating, “I’m not dying. Just can’t do the things I used to do. I’m cool with it. I have a great life!”

He expressed his support for former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, who will be stepping in to sing for Twisted Sister at select shows this fall. “I totally approve of @sebastianbach joining us. He’s a true fan and will honor what I did with every show!”

Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda confirmed that Bach will be fronting the band for some upcoming dates, but specific show details have yet to be announced. Fans can look forward to seeing Bach take the stage with the band soon!
