After finishing their European tour, Disturbed is ready for some rest. Frontman David Draiman shared on Instagram, “We’re taking a break because we’re TIRED, PERIOD.” He previously mentioned that the band members “all need a nice long break” and added, “Not sure when we will be headed back out.”
Some reports called the tour controversial after a show in Belgium was canceled due to security concerns linked to Draiman’s support for Israel. In his latest post, Draiman addressed the media coverage, saying, “Any spin by the media is just that…spin. We’re all doing great and are on great terms, closer than ever actually.”
Draiman also reflected on the tour, stating, “The European tour was the biggest of our career. We played to packed arenas every night. Let’s do it again sometime?”
Fans can look forward to more from Disturbed in the future, but for now, the band is taking a well-deserved break.
