Empire of the Sun has announced their most ambitious North American tour yet, called the “Ask That God Tour: Afterlife.” This 31-date tour runs from August to September and wraps up their journey following the album *Ask That God*. The tour expands on the themes of imagination, transformation, and connection introduced in their 2024 album.
“It feels like a very pivotal time,” said Luke Steele. “We have a new song to sing and a new chapter to step into. The world is changing, and we need to unite. Love is the power weapon.”
The tour kicks off on August 11 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, after festival appearances at Osheaga, Up in the Sky, and Outside Lands. Other stops include:

– August 30: Northwell at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh, NY
– September 2: PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, NJ
– September 4: Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, MD
The tour will conclude on October 9 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Polo & Pan and Midnight Generation will support all headline dates.

Empire of the Sun’s previous global tour in 2025 included 22 countries and nine festivals, selling over 110,000 tickets in the U.S. and 40,000 in Mexico. One highlight was a sold-out show at Anthem in Washington, D.C., grossing $351,200 from 6,000 tickets sold.
