To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Frank Zappa’s iconic 1975 album *One Size Fits All*, Zappa Records/UMe is releasing a special suite of expanded editions. The highlight is a five-disc Super Deluxe Edition, which includes 4 CDs and 1 Blu-ray Audio. This lavish box set features a 36-page booklet filled with unseen photos from Sam Emerson’s archives, along with liner notes and essays by music journalist David Fricke, Zappa band member Ruth Underwood, and Joe Travers, the Vaultmeister.
*One Size Fits All* will also be available on vinyl in two special editions. The 180-gram 2LP “Black Glitter” anniversary edition includes a new analog cut of the album and a bonus LP with highlights from the box set, plus the 50th anniversary booklet. There’s also a limited edition 1LP on 180-gram “Blue Galaxy” vinyl, which comes in a silver foil jacket and includes a lithograph of a never-before-seen photo contact sheet from Zappa’s sessions with Sam Emerson.
Both the Super Deluxe Edition and the 2LP will be released on September 26. However, fans who pre-order any of the *One Size Fits All: 50th Anniversary Edition* offerings will receive their album on August 1.
Additionally, a new merchandise collection celebrating the album’s anniversary has launched, featuring t-shirts, posters, and branded socks. The expanded collection includes the 2012 remaster of the original album, extra session outtakes, alternate takes, and live recordings from concerts in Rotterdam and Gothenburg.
Don’t miss out on Frank Zappa’s *One Size Fits All*!
