Green Day has released a teaser for their upcoming movie, *New Years Rev*. The film tells the story of three friends who mistakenly think their band has been chosen to open a New Year’s Eve show headlined by Billie Joe Armstrong and the rest of Green Day. It draws inspiration from the band’s own experiences living in a tour van.

The teaser, now available on YouTube, features the aspiring musicians as they hop into a cab and hit the road, chasing their dream gig. Viewers can expect to see plenty of teenage antics along the way, along with clips of Green Day performing. The teaser is set to the song “Holiday” from the *American Idiot* album.
