Halsey is celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut album, BADLANDS, by releasing three special editions next month. The BADLANDS DECADE EDITION, BADLANDS – Live From Webster Hall, and BADLANDS: ANTHOLOGY vinyl will all be available on August 29th, and you can pre-order them now.
BADLANDS was first released on August 28, 2015. The album features 11 tracks and tells the story of a fictional dystopian society, reflecting Halsey’s mental state during its creation. It debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 3 million copies in the US. Every track has been certified gold, platinum, or multi-platinum by the RIAA. Hit singles from the album include “Ghost,” “New Americana,” “Colors,” and “Castle.” The deluxe edition track “Gasoline” has over 300 million streams on Spotify.
BADLANDS: ANTHOLOGY will be a triple-disc vinyl, featuring the original album, orchestral versions, unreleased demos, remixes, and rare tracks. BADLANDS – Live From Webster Hall captures Halsey’s 2019 performance at Webster Hall and is her first live album, now getting its first physical release.
“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years,” Halsey said. “BADLANDS remains the most exciting musical journey of my life.”
This announcement comes after her recent “FOR MY LAST TRICK” tour, which supported her upcoming album, The Great Impersonator. The tour wraps up in Istanbul on August 28th, just before the new BADLANDS editions drop. Don’t miss out—order your 10th anniversary editions of Halsey’s BADLANDS now!
