Justin Bieber Releases New Music Video for ‘First Place’

Justin Bieber is giving fans a sneak peek into his recording process with his new music video for “First Place.” Directed by Rory Kramer, the black-and-white video captures Bieber enjoying nature in Iceland. He takes a break from city life to focus on his music.

In the video, Bieber and his collaborators record “First Place” in a cozy cabin nestled in the mountains. During his downtime, he relaxes in a hot tub, takes a cold plunge, strolls by a lake, enjoys the view from a rooftop, and even goes snowboarding. The song reflects the ups and downs of a relationship, with lyrics like, “We get high and we go down again / We go ’round and right back where we been.”

One memorable moment shows Bieber jumping into a nighttime swim in just his white boxer briefs, and he humorously comments in the YouTube caption, “FORGIVE MY CHICKEN LEGS.”

“First Place” is the latest single from Bieber’s album “Swag,” following previous hits “Daisies” and “Yukon.” This album is his seventh and the first since 2021’s “Justice.” Bieber worked with a talented team of producers, including Carter Lang, Daniel Caesar, and more. The album features guest appearances from artists like Gunna, Dijon, and comedian Druski.

Inspired by his experiences as a husband and father, “Swag” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Fans can check out Justin Bieber’s music on CD and vinyl.
