New Andrea Bocelli Documentary Set to Hit Theaters This Fall

This fall, a new documentary about Andrea Bocelli’s incredible career will hit select cinemas worldwide. Titled *Andrea Bocelli: Because I Believe*, the film is set to release on September 21. It promises a unique and personal look into Bocelli’s life, featuring both new and archival interviews, along with candid moments away from the stage. The documentary includes insights from Bocelli’s friends, family, and colleagues.

Directed by Cosima Spender, known for the award-winning film *Palio*, this documentary aims to capture the essence of Bocelli’s world. Spender wants viewers to feel how music is a part of his daily life and to experience the power of his voice during warm-ups. She also highlights Bocelli’s optimism and storytelling charm.

Lionsgate is teaming up with Trafalgar Releasing to bring the film to theaters globally. Tickets will be available starting July 16.

Bocelli shared his excitement about the project, saying, “I believe in people, in life, and in our Heavenly Father. I hope this film conveys the message of love that I try to share through my music.”

The documentary premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, where Bocelli spoke with the media. He mentioned his love for horseback riding, recalling that one of his favorite moments during filming was simply saddling up and galloping into the countryside.
