Metallica’s blood drive with the American Red Cross has been a huge success, bringing in over 25,000 donations across the U.S. Drummer Lars Ulrich shared, “A key mission of our All Within My Hands Foundation is to support communities and encourage action.” He added, “We’re thrilled that the Metallica Family understands the importance of blood donation and stepped up for this lifesaving cause. Their support has made a real difference.”
The blood drive kicked off during the U.S. leg of their M72 world tour in 2025 and continued during their Australian tour as well. Fans showed incredible enthusiasm, proving how much they care about helping others.
In recognition of their efforts, Metallica will be honored at the Red Cross Gala in San Francisco this Saturday. It’s a great way to celebrate the impact they’ve made through this initiative. Metallica continues to inspire their fans to give back and make a positive change in the world.
