Pearl Jam is celebrating a heartwarming holiday story! The three kittens they’ve been fostering at their Seattle headquarters have officially found their forever homes.
These adorable kittens, known as the Purrl Jam Kittens, were discovered in the PJHQ parking lot over the summer. Thanks to the Alley Cat Project, they were rescued and stayed at PJHQ until they were adopted just in time for Christmas.
In a Facebook post, Pearl Jam shared, “Thanks to Alley Cat Project, these rockstar-personality kittens have found their forever homes for the holidays!”
Bugs and Dark Matter, the dynamic duo of the litter, were adopted together. Gremmie, named after the song “Gremmie Out of Control,” found a home with a PJHQ staff member and is adjusting well with the help of his new big sister, Winnie.
Bugs is named after the 1994 song “Vitalogy,” while Dark Matter takes its name from the title track of Pearl Jam’s upcoming 2024 album.
It’s a joyful time for both the band and the kittens, making this holiday season even more special!
