Philadelphia-Area Attractions Extend Holiday Wonders Through Late February

Several holiday attractions in the Philadelphia area are staying open into the new year, offering fun experiences through January and February.

Ice Skating
Dilworth Park and Center City rinks will be open through February. The ice rink at Dilworth Park is available daily until February 23. Admission is $9 for adults and $6 for kids 10 and under. Skate rentals cost an extra $10. Don’t miss the heated Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin, where you can grab snacks and drinks.

The Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest features an NHL-sized rink, arcade, lodge, and fire pits, open every day until March 1. Admission is $5, and skate rentals are $12. You can reserve private fire pits and cabins on their website.

Franklin Square
Winter in Franklin Square offers holiday attractions, including the Electrical Spectacle Light Show, which runs every 30 minutes from 5 p.m. until closing, through February 23. Frosty’s Fireside Lounge serves festive cocktails and comfort food until February 26. Street curling rinks and mini golf are available through February 25 and 26. Rent a curling rink for $40 per hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mini golf costs $15 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3 to 12.

Longwood Gardens
Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square presents a “Longwood Christmas” with stunning fountain and light shows until January 11. Enjoy over 500,000 lights and beautiful displays. Timed tickets are required and can be bought on their website.

Peddler’s Village
Peddler’s Village in Lahaska will keep its light display and over 60 shops open until January 18. Enjoy extended hours on Mondays and Tuesdays with special events, including ice-carving demos and live entertainment. Don’t miss the Jack Frost Scavenger Hunt and stilt walkers throughout the village!
