Robert Plant has dropped a new track from his upcoming album with his acoustic band, Saving Grace. The latest song, “Gospel Plough,” is now available. This track takes a centuries-old spiritual and turns it into a captivating mix of vocals, steel banjo, acoustic guitar, and percussion.
Plant and Saving Grace will release their debut album, also titled *Saving Grace*, on September 26. This album has been six years in the making. Plant started working with the band—drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, cellist Barney Morse Brown, and vocalist Suzi Dian—in 2019. Plant describes the album as “a song book of the lost and found.” It was recorded between April 2019 and January 2025 and features covers of songs by Memphis Minnie, Bob Mosley of Moby Grape, Blind Willie Johnson, and more.
In addition to the album, Plant and Saving Grace will kick off their first U.S. tour on October 30 in Wheeling, West Virginia. The tour will run through November 23, ending in Valley Center, California. For a full list of tour dates, visit RobertPlant.com.
