Slash Delivers Electrifying Performance at Pinkpop Festival with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators

Pro-shot footage of Slash performing with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators at the 2015 Pinkpop Festival has surfaced online. The video showcases their set from June 12, 2015, at the annual event in Landgraaf, Netherlands.

The band played a 10-song set that included a mix of original material and classic hits from Slash’s career. Fans were treated to four tracks from Guns N’ Roses and one song from Velvet Revolver. The performance kicked off with “You’re A Lie” and wrapped up with some classic rock favorites.

Slash, the British-American guitarist, rose to fame as the lead guitarist for Guns N’ Roses in the late 1980s. He joined the band in 1985, replacing founding member Tracii Guns. Born in Hampstead, London, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of six. His nickname, “Slash,” was given to him by actor Seymour Cassel when he was a kid. Both of his parents worked in the entertainment industry.

In 1994, tensions within Guns N’ Roses led Slash to form his own band, Slash’s Snakepit. He left Guns N’ Roses in 1996 due to conflicts with Axl Rose. In 2002, he co-founded Velvet Revolver with singer Scott Weiland, which brought him back into the spotlight during the mid-to-late 2000s.

Slash has released two solo albums and four albums with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. He rejoined Guns N’ Roses in 2016 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in music history. This recent footage is a great reminder of his incredible talent and the energy he brings to the stage.
