NASHVILLE, TN – October 28, 2025 – Live Nation has announced a new indoor music venue called The Truth, which will open in fall 2026 in Nashville’s Wedgewood Houston neighborhood. With a capacity of 4,400, The Truth is designed for live performances and aims to celebrate Nashville’s vibrant music scene.
Sally Williams, President of Nashville Music & Business Strategy at Live Nation, shared, “Harlan Howard once said all you need for a good country song is three chords and the truth. The Truth is built on that idea.” The venue will provide a unique space where artists and fans can connect through authentic music and top-notch production.
Designed by Blueprint Studio, The Truth will feature a flexible layout with three levels, allowing for both standing and seated shows. The venue will include Harlan’s, a whiskey bar honoring Harlan Howard, and the Vinyl Room, a two-story lounge celebrating the area’s vinyl culture. Local food and drink options will highlight Nashville-made whiskeys and spirits.
Located on Chestnut Street, The Truth will enhance Wedgewood Village, a hub for fashion, art, music, and entertainment. Eric Hassberger, President of AJ Capital Partners, said, “Wedgewood Houston is a blend of heritage and innovation, and The Truth will give live music a permanent home here.”
Live Nation plans to host a variety of acts at The Truth, from big-name artists to local favorites. They are also investing in Nashville’s music community by partnering with the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and the W.O. Smith Music School. These partnerships aim to support songwriters and nurture new talent, keeping Nashville’s music legacy alive.
