Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park and Emily Armstrong recently appeared on the popular online show Track Star. Hosted by Jack Coyne, the show challenges guests to quickly identify songs while standing on the streets of New York City.
During the episode, Shinoda and Armstrong listened to tracks like Nirvana’s “Drain You,” Led Zeppelin’s “Communication Breakdown,” Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid,” and Deftones’ “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away).” They also shared their dream concert experiences. Shinoda expressed a desire to see Jimi Hendrix live, while Armstrong chose The Clash.
In a fun moment, Shinoda revealed that the original title for Linkin Park’s song “What I’ve Done,” featured in Transformers, was “Megatron.”
Currently, Linkin Park is on a U.S. tour promoting their upcoming album, From Zero, which is set to release in 2024. This album marks their first collaboration with Armstrong. Fans are excited to see what the band has in store!
