Wolfgang Van Halen is eagerly looking forward to two albums set to release in 2026. In a recent chat, the Mammoth frontman shared his excitement for Puscifer’s upcoming album, *Normal Isn’t*, and Karnivool’s new project, *In Verses*.
“I’m really excited about the new Puscifer record, *Normal Isn’t*. I know it’s not out yet, but the songs I’ve heard are really great,” Van Halen said. He also expressed his enthusiasm for Karnivool’s new music. “They just announced a new single, and the three songs released from *In Verses* are awesome. I’m very excited about that,” he added.
Both albums are set to drop on February 6, 2026. Puscifer has already released two songs, while Karnivool has put out three tracks. Van Halen has previously shared his admiration for Maynard James Keenan’s work. *Normal Isn’t* will be Puscifer’s first album in over five years, following *Existential Reckoning*, which came out in 2020. The new album features contributions from Tool’s Danny Carey, King Crimson’s Tony Levin, and Ian Ross. Puscifer is also planning a 32-date North American tour starting on March 20, 2026, in Las Vegas and wrapping up on May 14 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Mammoth has exciting plans for 2026 as well. The band will embark on a North American headlining tour in March and April, followed by a European tour in the spring. They will also perform at the Summer of ’99 and Beyond festival alongside Creed and Limp Bizkit, and have South American dates with Iron Maiden.
“I’m very lucky to have an audience that expects something from me. It’s time to just tour like crazy,” Van Halen said about his band’s plans for the year. Fans can look forward to Mammoth’s new album and upcoming tour schedule.
