David Bowie fans the world over will be gathering en masse next year for the first-ever David Bowie world fan convention.

Taking place June 17-19, 2022 in Liverpool, the convention coincides with the 50th anniversary of Bowie’s landmark album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Per the convention’s website, the event promises, “An opportunity for all fans to listen, learn, laugh and leave inspired, ticket holders to the event will brush shoulder to shoulder with Bowie’s esteemed collaborators, including: guitarist and bandleader for 3 decades, Carlos Alomar; bass-player and vocalist from 1995 to 2016, Gail Ann Dorsey; legendary drummer and last surviving Spider from Mars, Woody Woodmansey; unmistakable vocal powerhouse, Robin Clark; and the last musician to play with Bowie, saxophonist Donny McCaslin.”
