Metallica’s non-profit organization, All Within My Hands (AWMH), has announced a donation of $125,000 to assist with flood relief efforts in Hawaii. The islands are currently grappling with what has been described as the worst flooding in over two decades, following a series of slow-moving "Kona Low" storms that caused an estimated $1 billion in damage. The grant is being distributed among three local organizations: The Hawaiian Council ($50,000), The Lāhui Foundation ($50,000), and Hui O He’e Nalu ($25,000). The Hawaiian Council has also pledged to match every dollar donated to its emergency fund up to $325,000, further amplifying the impact of the band's contribution.

The band’s philanthropic move was inspired in part by their personal ties to the islands—guitarist Kirk Hammett is a longtime resident—and a collaboration with actor Jason Momoa, a friend of the foundation who has been active on the ground with local relief efforts. This latest donation follows AWMH’s previous support for the state during the 2023 Maui wildfires and comes on the heels of the foundation’s record-breaking blood drive campaign with the Red Cross, which saw over 25,000 donations from the "Metallica Family" earlier this month. As recovery efforts continue for the hundreds of homes and farms damaged on O’ahu, Metallica’s foundation remains focused on its mission of supporting critical local services in times of disaster.

Billy Strings has officially mapped out a second leg for his 2026 touring schedule, announcing a comprehensive run of fall U.S. dates. Judas Priest has officially entered the studio to begin work on their 20th studio album.
