Bad Wolves will no longer be supporting Skillet on their upcoming fall 2026 tour, according to a video statement released by new frontwoman Sara "Killboy" Skinner.

Addressing the sudden removal directly, Skinner explained that backlash from Skillet's fanbase over her background led to the band being pulled from the bill:

"I have gathered you all here today to inform you that Bad Wolves will no longer be joining Skillet on their upcoming tour. Now, Skillet's camp did not want me to say anything, but apparently a statement has to be made. And I am not someone who's ever hidden who the fuck I am. So, let's not leave you to speculate, okay? Here's the truth. Skillet announced us on their tour, and their fans had a field day doing very extensive research that their booking agents and management did not do. The surviving members of Soundgarden—Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron, and Ben Shepherd—are set to reunite for a special halftime performance during the Seattle Seahawks' home opener at Lumen Field on September 9.

Shock rock icon Alice Cooper has unveiled the star-studded lineup for his 24th annual "Christmas Pudding" fundraising event, scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2026, at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.

This year's powerhouse bill features performances by Alice Cooper, Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger (Halestorm), and John 5 and The Creatures.

All proceeds directly benefit the music, art, dance, and vocational programs provided to teens ages 12–20 at Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers across Phoenix, Mesa, and Goodyear.

Mammoth frontman Wolfgang Van Halen celebrated a satisfying milestone by looking to collect on a five-year-old social media bet made with an early critic.

Back on August 24, 2021—right as the self-titled debut Mammoth album was released—a commenter claimed that within five years, Wolfgang would simply be touring playing his father's catalog: "In 5 years, he'll be playing all VH." At the time, Wolfgang took the wager, marking his calendar for August 24, 2026, and promising the critic front-row tickets if proven wrong.

Marking the arrival of that date, Wolfgang reflected on carving his own path with original music rather than leaning on the Van Halen catalog:

"5 years later. What a trip... I just wanted to say thanks for listening and sticking with me. I’m very proud of what we’ve built here and I intend to keep going until the wheels fall off. I never planned on playing VH in any capacity when it came to Mammoth, and 5 years later I feel exactly the same. As my dad once said, 'I’d rather bomb on my own than succeed with someone else’s music.' Don’t ever let anyone tell you what you’re capable of. That’s for you to decide."

Specialist police search teams have uncovered a sizable stash of drugs buried underground across the Creamfields festival grounds in Daresbury, Cheshire, just days before the annual dance music event gets underway.

As part of pre-event disruption operations ahead of the August Bank Holiday weekend—where up to 80,000 music fans are expected—officers located buried rucksacks and holdalls containing Class A, B, and C drugs. The haul recovered so far includes large bags of ecstasy, MDMA, and ketamine, along with approximately 204 canisters of nitrous oxide.

Superintendent Andy Blizard, who is overseeing the policing operation for the festival, warned attendees attempting to bypass security:

"Every year we counter a number of brazen individuals who think they can outsmart us by concealing drugs from view or burying them at the site months in advance. We fully expect to find further quantities as our searches continue, leaving many of those who chose to bury these items very much disappointed to find them no longer where they left them when they arrive at the festival to dig them back up. Anyone who has buried a rucksack or holdall bag at the site and would like it back is asked to get in contact with us."

Police stated that searches of the festival site will continue in the days leading up to the gates opening on Thursday.
