Pressing Plant Capacity: Unlike the 2020–2021 pandemic era where delays stretched up to 12 months, global pressing plants currently have sufficient installed capacity to handle release demands and variant volume.

Retail Trends & Younger Buyers: While mass retailers like Walmart and Target continue to move large CD volumes, independent record stores have reported low double-digit growth in CDs compared to single-digit growth in LPs, driven heavily by younger generations finding value in physical media and older car players.

Statica, the electronic alter ego project from the members of Avenged Sevenfold, has officially released lyric videos for all four tracks featured on its self-titled debut EP.

Originally surprise-released independently in July, the four-track, 18-minute effort explores uncharted sonic territory for the band, blending sci-fi synthesizers, electronic dance beats, and vocoded robotic vocal textures across its full tracklist:

The project follows the band's standalone single "Magic" from late 2025 and the release of their 2023 studio album Life Is But A Dream…. The lyric video drop also follows the official Lance Drake-directed music video for the title track, which was filmed on location in Northridge, California.

Sharon Osbourne has publicly spoken out in defense of longtime friend Marilyn Manson, disputing allegations against the musician and claiming to have witnessed an incident firsthand involving one of his accusers.

PRS Guitars has officially unveiled the Astryx Limited Edition, the first-ever signature guitar for Dany Villarreal, guitarist and lead vocalist of Mexican rock powerhouse The Warning.

Built as a personalized twist on the classic Custom 24, the model is strictly limited to 200 instruments worldwide in 2026. Each axe features a maple top, mahogany back, Pattern Thin neck, PRS Gen III Tremolo, DMO humbuckers, and an ebony fretboard, alongside custom design elements honoring Villarreal's celestial themes and Mexican heritage:

"Ocaso" Finish: A custom sunset color fade of purple, pink, orange, and yellow.

"Solecito" Inlay: A custom paua, gold, and mother-of-pearl 12th-fret sun inlay ("little sun").
