Alanis Morissette has filed a federal lawsuit in California against her 2025 European tour manager, Keren Urinov, accusing her of civil extortion, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation.

According to the complaint, the dispute traces back to a 2025 incident where British airport authorities arrested Urinov after flagging a bag containing marijuana and xylazine. Urinov also reportedly confessed during the run that she had once fled drug charges in Latin America after being caught smuggling narcotics in a surfboard.

The filing claims Urinov and her attorney subsequently sent "increasingly extortionate letters," threatening to report Morissette to U.K. police for drug trafficking unless the singer agreed to a 15-year contract with annual raises, bonuses, and U.S. work visa assistance: "Morissette brings this lawsuit reluctantly. But Morissette will not agree to work with an incompetent blackmailer for the next fifteen years or pay her a ransom under the gun.

Morissette is not interested in employing Urinov for fifteen years — not only because she is a blackmailer, but also because she was a terrible manager of the 2025 tour."

The lawsuit states Urinov also cost the production $70,000 due to a hotel booking error. Morissette is asking the court to order the return of more than $75,000, seek punitive damages, and request a jury trial.

Former Bad Wolves guitarist AJ Rebollo has issued a follow-up statement clarifying earlier claims regarding the band and label Better Noise Music over their heavy metal cover of the late Dolly Parton's "Jolene."

Rebollo explained that he had spoken directly with Better Noise chairman Allen Kovac and took full personal responsibility for previously asserting that the release lacked proper approval or band unity:

"At the end of the day, the band and label did, in fact, have the blessing of Dolly’s team to move forward with the cover, despite the fact that Dolly could no longer be involved, as previously planned. On top that, John, who is the head of Bad Wolves pertaining to all things business-related, and the contractually-obligated owner of the band, did give the green light to move forward with the release when the time came. This is something that was unknown to me, which inadvertently made my statement regarding the band being a united front in opposing the release, frankly, false."

While confirming his departure from Bad Wolves remains permanent, Rebollo urged fans to focus on the positive impact of the single, as all proceeds benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library:

"I am not retracting my departure, but I would like to, once again, encourage everybody upset by this to acknowledge the fact that Dolly’s team wanted this decision to come to fruition... there is no denying the fact that the proceeds from this track will bring about something great for Imagination Library and the kids who will receive books from the foundation."

Better Noise chairman Allen Kovac commended Rebollo's accountability, stating:

"It takes immense courage to publicly stand up, acknowledge a mistake, and set the record straight—especially in today’s fast-paced media landscape. I want to fully commend AJ for having the integrity and bravery to address the misinformation regarding the Bad Wolves and Dolly Parton collaboration."

In a recent interview with Hello! Magazine, Kelly Osbourne opened up about how the Osbourne family grieved following the passing of her father, legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, choosing to keep him at home rather than immediately sending him to a morgue:

“We didn’t put my dad in any sort of morgue. He came straight home and we got to spend a few days with him and mourn with him and make sure that everything was the way we wanted it to be.”

So I think what appealed to us about Anika — first of all, we were so thrilled to see how well she plays and her technical ability... We wanted somebody fresh, someone that had a story, someone whose story would be welcomed by our fans. And I think Anika fits that bill completely."

Pete Townshend has officially canceled his scheduled appearance at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Austin, Texas, citing physical limitations and travel concerns following an injury and recovery complications.

Townshend shared a statement explaining that damage to his foot, balance issues, and recovery from a February 2025 knee replacement made long-distance travel from London impossible at this time:

“I’m so sorry to say that due to damage to my left foot, and subsequent issues with my balance, I cannot commit to travel to appear at the upcoming Crossroads Festival in Austin. I so desperately wanted to appear, and have battled to get in shape, and I am improving, but the long flights from London, and the jetlag on my return, would cause backtracking I really can’t afford.”

Despite not taking the stage, Townshend confirmed he is donating $50,000 to Clapton's Crossroads Centre from his charity, Double O. He also expressed gratitude to Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, who had offered to serve as his backing band, noting his focus is now on getting well to work with Roger Daltrey and The Who in the future.

The 2026 Crossroads Guitar Festival takes place September 26–27 in Austin.

Mexican rock powerhouse The Warning has been officially announced as the halftime show headliner for the 2026 NFL Mexico City Game featuring the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, November 22.

During a Q&A session at Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp, John 5 reflected on stepping into Mötley Crüe in the fall of 2022 to replace co-founding guitarist Mick Mars, sharing how natural the transition felt due to his longtime bond with the band:

"Nikki gave me [a list of] the songs [to learn] and he goes, 'Okay, learn these.' And I'm thinking to myself, 'I know these songs. I've known [these songs] forever. I know these songs just like the whole world knows these songs.' So it was wonderful. I was super excited... It's just been a dream. It's just been so much fun. All we do is laugh and have a great time."

Drummer Tommy Lee also spoke about the massive spark John 5 brought to the lineup:
