Nü-metal icons Limp Bizkit have officially landed another massive streaming milestone as "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)" enters Spotify's 'Billions Club'. The track originally launched as the third single from their 6x platinum third studio album, "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water". Crossing this threshold signifies that the hit song has earned over one billion plays on the streaming service.

This accomplishment marks the band's second track to reach the landmark figure on Spotify, following their 1999 hit "Break Stuff" which joined the 'Billions Club' back in October of 2025. Limp Bizkit, who appear to have been in the studio recently, have continued to enjoy a massive resurgence in overall popularity.

The creators behind the iconic Guitar Hero franchise are returning to the rhythm gaming scene with Stage Tour, officially launching on December 10 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.

Following the conclusion of Ghost's 70-date "Skeletour" supporting the chart-topping 2025 album Skeletá, band mastermind Tobias Forge opened up about the group's current hiatus and his choice to step off the continuous album-and-tour treadmill.

Speaking candidly in a cover story interview, Forge explained that for the first time in his career, he reached the end of a tour cycle without an immediate creative blueprint—and decided to embrace taking a break rather than rushing back into the studio:

"Everything was great up until the moment when I was sort of eyeing the end of a tour and not knowing for the first time in our career what to do next. And that was kind of the get-the-fuck-out-of-Dodge card, which is: I'm not gonna just go back to make an album or force myself to make an album for no reason. I need to want to make a record. I need to have something to say."

Forge noted that every Ghost project has been strictly driven by genuine artistic passion rather than contractual obligations, adding:

"And this time around it was just like, 'I don't have an idea.' I just want to do other things and it doesn't really mean anything other than that, but it also means that, no, we don't have anything in the books, and yeah, it's just a normal hiatus."

For fans missing the live experience during the break, Ghost recently released their concert film 2 Big To Rig via Trafalgar Releasing, capturing the band's 16mm pro-shot performance with Papa V Perpetua during their sold-out shows in Mexico City.

Instrumental rock trailblazers Polyphia have officially announced their fifth studio album, Be Not Afraid, arriving October 23 via .

Alongside the album reveal, the quartet dropped the music video for their dynamic new single, "Power In The Blood," filmed against the ornate gold-leaf Baroque architecture of the São Francisco da Penitência Church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Written and recorded across Miami, Los Angeles, and Dallas alongside co-producer RJ Pasin and guitarist Spiro Dussias, the 12-track LP explores a collaborative, communal songwriting process blending metal, progressive rock, electronic house, and intricate beat-craft.

"Instead of going wide on 'Be Not Afraid', we went as deep as we could," says guitarist Tim Henson. "There are so many layers to pull back. Every time you listen to it, you'll notice something new. Thematically, it's by far the most meaningful record we've ever made."

To ensure the record was completely dialed in, Polyphia has shifted the North American leg of their world tour (featuring support from RJ Pasin, Ladrones, and select dates with Intervals) to early 2027, while their European dates with Perturbator remain scheduled for November and December 2026. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

Maynard James Keenan revealed that he underwent another hip replacement surgery on August 26 after suffering an unexpected, severe hip injury while on tour with A Perfect Circle in Luxembourg on July 3.

Despite having to finish that European run with a cane and managing chronic pain, the 62-year-old vocalist made it clear that canceling his packed fall schedule—spanning 27 shows in 18 countries across Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer—was completely off the table:

“Cancelling isn’t an option. People have purchased tickets and booked travel & lodging, most of which is probably nonrefundable. Hats off to the medical team in LA. When taking recovery into consideration, my cut off for a hip replacement would be Sept 1st. These wizards all aligned their wands & got me in on Aug 26th (Today. Right now). Phew.”

Keenan’s upcoming run kicks off in September with festival headlining dates for Tool (Riot Fest, Louder Than Life, Aftershock), moves into a European/UK trek with Puscifer, and finishes with extensive international A Perfect Circle and Puscifer dates across Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Hawaii through December.
