Arizona thrash metal pioneers Flotsam and Jetsam have officially announced their upcoming 16th studio album, Rats In The Temple, set to arrive on August 28, 2026, via Napalm Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band has unleashed the official music video for the record's blistering title track. Serving as the lead single, the ghoulish new anthem packs sweeping signature guitarmonies, thunderous drumming, and the haunting, exalted wail of frontman Eric "A.K." Knutson. "This is possibly one of the most technically challenging songs Flotsam has ever recorded," Knutson shared, promising that the band is incredibly eager to bring the heavy new track to their live sets.

The upcoming album marks a monumental milestone for the legendary outfit, arriving exactly 40 years after their groundbreaking 1986 debut, Doomsday For The Deceiver—famously one of the only albums to ever receive a perfect "6K" rating from Kerrang! magazine.
