Horror icon and cult actress Sheri Moon Zombie has officially launched her music career with the debut single "I Love My Robot," accompanied by a music video directed by her husband, Rob Zombie.

The catchy, cheerleader-esque rock track takes aim at the rapid invasion of artificial intelligence into creative spaces and daily life. Visually, the Rob Zombie-directed video embraces a retro aesthetic featuring hypnotic swirls and a backing band made up of throwback robots.

"I Love My Robot" is available now, with Nuclear Blast issuing a limited-edition picture disc release on October 30th featuring Rob Zombie's "Sir Lord Acid Wolfman" on the B-side.

Alternative metal titans System Of A Down and Faith No More are joining forces for a massive stadium tour across Australia and New Zealand in early 2027.

The four-date run marks System Of A Down's first return to Australia since headline appearances at Soundwave in 2012. For Faith No More, who last performed live in 2016, these dates signal a major return to the stage following a global management partnership with live entertainment giant 30e.

The tour kicks off January 22nd at Sydney's Accor Stadium, making stops in Melbourne and Brisbane before wrapping up at Wellington's Hnry Stadium on February 7th. General public tickets go on sale Friday, July 31st, with artist and PayPal pre-sales launching earlier in the week.

Five Finger Death Punch surprised fans during their July 20th tour stop at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, packing three live debuts into their setlist.

The band performed the title track to their upcoming tenth studio album, Legacy, for the very first time, alongside recent singles "Eye Of The Storm" and "De Oppresso Liber." Fan-filmed footage of the new tracks has since hit YouTube, showcasing the heavy new material ahead of the record's official release on September 18th.

Ukrainian metal titans Jinjer have officially wrapped up their massive North American "Duél" tour alongside special guests Crystal Lake and Entheos.

Taking to social media to share a full crew and band photo from the road, the group expressed gratitude to their touring partners and fans across the continent. Reflecting on their journey, Jinjer noted that having completed over ten tours in the United States since their first appearance in 2018, they plan to take an extended hiatus from North American touring before returning.

"One more North American tour in the pocket! We were honored to have such incredible bands as Crystal Lake and Entheos and we hope that each of you who joined us on the trip had as much fun as we did," the band shared. "It's been more than 10 tours in the US since we came first time in 2018 so it feels like it is time to take a longer break, but we will definitely come back... so rather than farewell, we say till next time."

Just days after surprise-releasing their experimental four-track EP Statica, Avenged Sevenfold shocked fans at the July 25th kickoff of their summer co-headlining tour with Good Charlotte at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri.

Listed on the official event bill as a mystery supporting act named "STATICA," the band took to the stage slot directly before Good Charlotte. Rather than appearing physically on stage, the group performed the entire 18-minute Statica EP live from backstage, broadcasting the performance directly onto the arena's massive production screens.

The unconventional set featured the live debuts of "Lights," "Statica," "Rejoice," and "Ashes," giving fans their first live taste of the band's new electronic soundscapes and autotuned vocal production, which was produced by Joe Barresi.

Later in the evening, Avenged Sevenfold returned to the main stage for their traditional headlining performance, delivering a heavy, career-spanning set that also featured the live debut of their Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 single, "Magic."

Guns N’ Roses officially launched their 2026 North American summer tour on Thursday night (July 23rd) with a massive 29-song set at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The rock icons kicked off the evening with "Welcome to the Jungle," marking the first of eight tracks performed from their legendary debut album, Appetite for Destruction, which also included fan favorites "Mr. Brownstone," "Sweet Child o' Mine," and closer "Paradise City."

The marathon set featured a wide array of classic covers, including the band's signature arrangements of Bob Dylan’s "Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door" and Wings’ "Live and Let Die," alongside The Damned’s "New Rose," Velvet Revolver’s "Slither," and Jimmy Webb’s "Wichita Lineman."

Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante has taken to social media to push back against online backlash surrounding a recent show in Phoenix, Arizona, where the band paused their set to have a violent concertgoer escorted out by venue security.

Following initial reports and viral footage of the July 15th incident at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, some social media users criticized LaPlante, assuming the fan was ejected merely for standard moshing or crowd killing. Others took issue with her referring to the performance as a "rock show" while opening for alternative metal giants Evanescence.

Addressing the assumptions online, LaPlante clarified that the individual was not participating in the pit, but rather physically assaulting unsuspecting concertgoers facing the stage.

"It was an old drunk man punching people in the head who were facing the stage in small amphitheater VIP pit, several times while we were playing," LaPlante shared on X. "Not appropriate or fun for anyone else there!"

LaPlante added that the band had alerted venue security multiple times during the performance before ultimately stopping the set ahead of "Soft Spine" to address the situation directly from the stage.

"I wasn't thinking about the internet when I stopped the show," LaPlante explained. "3 times we told security about him so that was the final straw and I'm glad I did it, he wasn't moshing... the person who already thinks I'm lame and not a part of this culture isn't crazy to assume from the article that I kicked someone out for moshing, and I will survive."

In an unexpected cross-genre team-up, Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson made a surprise appearance alongside Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and his side project, The Coverups, at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, California.

Taking place on July 23rd during a San Diego Comic-Con kickoff party hosted by Fandom and Z2 Comics, Dickinson took the stage early in the 26-song set to handle lead vocals on the David Bowie-penned classic "All The Young Dudes" by Mott The Hoople. The track holds a special place in Dickinson's repertoire, as he previously recorded a solo cover of it for his 1990 debut solo album, Tattooed Millionaire.

The Coverups—which features Armstrong alongside Green Day touring member Jason White, tour manager Bill Schneider, and audio engineer Chris Dugan—ran through an eclectic set of punk, rock, and metal staples throughout the night, including tracks by Cheap Trick, Ramones, The Clash, Nirvana, Mötley Crüe, and Ozzy Osbourne.

Lou Koller, the legendary vocalist and co-founder of New York hardcore pioneers Sick Of It All, has passed away at the age of 59 following a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

His bandmates confirmed the heartbreaking news on social media, expressing deep grief as they paid tribute to their brother and frontman ahead of what would have been the group's 40th anniversary.

"It's with unbelievable sadness that we announce to our worldwide hardcore family the passing of our brother Lou Koller," the band shared. "The level of loss that we feel at this time is overwhelming. We have lost a beloved friend and an iconic frontman. Lou had the power to raise everyone's spirits at our shows with a smile and a sarcastic comment, and he won people over wherever we played, from every culture and every corner of the world."

Koller first publicly revealed his diagnosis in June 2024 after doctors discovered a cancerous tumor in his esophagus. Following intensive treatment, chemotherapy, and overwhelming support from fans and fellow artists via a GoFundMe campaign and benefit shows, Koller briefly celebrated being declared cancer-free in May 2025. However, the cancer returned later that year.

Formed in Queens, New York, in 1986 alongside his brother Pete Koller and drummer Armand Majidi, Lou led Sick Of It All through nearly four decades of relentless touring, iconic releases, and an enduring influence that helped shape the global hardcore community.
