Bon Jovi ended their concert early on Thursday night (July 23rd) at Madison Square Garden in New York City after frontman Jon Bon Jovi announced to the audience that he was battling a severe sinus infection.

Roughly 90 minutes into the band's set, Jon addressed the crowd directly from the stage to explain that he could not continue the performance.

"I haven't talked to anybody about anything, but don't throw away your ticket stubs," Bon Jovi told the crowd. "I'm going to figure something out, okay? Just hold on to them. We'll figure out how to reschedule. But I'm going to have to cool it for the night. I feel great. I'll see you again soon. Good night."

A spokesperson for the band later confirmed to Rolling Stone that the early end was caused by the sinus infection, noting that updated information regarding rescheduled dates would be released shortly.

The MSG residency marks Bon Jovi's return to the stage following a four-year touring hiatus while Jon recovered from vocal cord surgery. The band's "Forever" tour kicked off on July 7th with the first of nine scheduled nights at the legendary NYC venue, featuring a mix of classic hits alongside tracks from their 2024 album Forever.

Following news that David Lee Roth has abruptly canceled the remainder of his summer tour dates—with the exception of an August 7th performance in Sturgis, South Dakota—Sammy Hagar has reached out directly to his fellow former Van Halen frontman with a message of support.

In a video message posted from home, Hagar expressed genuine sympathy after hearing about the cancellations from bassist Michael Anthony, offering words of encouragement and praising Roth for keeping the band's legacy alive on stage.

"Hey Dave, Sammy here... I wanna say from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry. I hope you're well. I hope there's not a physical problem," Hagar shared. "Honestly, Mike and I love the fact that you've been out there doing it, supporting the greatest band in the world that we were both part of... You and I, Mikey, Al, Ed, cannot be replaced. So, when you're ready to carry on, you go, brother. Mike and I support you."

Taking the olive branch a step further, Hagar extended an open invitation for Diamond Dave to join him and Michael Anthony on stage during their upcoming Las Vegas residency in September.

"Come to Vegas for the residency in September. Come on, join us. Sing a couple songs, MC the damn show," Hagar added. "Come out and just do what the fuck you do, which is pretty damn entertaining."

While no official reason for Roth's tour cancellations has been released, his Sturgis date remains on the calendar as fans await further updates.

Alternative metal icons Staind have unveiled a live performance video for "Fade," offering another sneak peek into their upcoming live album Break The Cycle (25th Anniversary Live).

Set to arrive on August 21st, the live release celebrates the band's 5x platinum landmark 2001 studio album, Break The Cycle. To support the milestone, Staind is hitting the road this fall for a massive 25th-anniversary tour across North America, bringing along Seether, Hoobastank, and Hinder as support.

The anniversary tour kicks off September 3rd in Uncasville, CT, before hitting major amphitheaters and arenas through October.

Sleep Token's third studio album, Take Me Back To Eden, has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) after crossing one million units in the U.S., while its breakout single "The Summoning" has earned a gold certification.

Originally released on May 19th, 2023, via Spinefarm Records, the LP has now accumulated over two billion global streams. The milestone marks the first platinum-certified album in Spinefarm's history, closing out the trilogy that began with 2019's Sundowning and 2021's This Place Will Become Your Tomb.

The platinum certification caps off a massive run for the anonymous British collective. Following the success of Take Me Back To Eden, Sleep Token transitioned to headlining major arenas worldwide. Their 2025 follow-up album on RCA Records, Even In Arcadia, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earned RIAA gold status earlier this year, and picked up the band's first-ever Grammy nominations for "Best Metal Performance" ("Emergence") and "Best Rock Song" ("Caramel").

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis has officially married partner Brittany Parisi in a Renaissance-inspired ceremony in Palos Verdes Estates, California.

The couple exchanged traditional vows on July 3rd at The Neighborhood Church of Palos Verdes in front of 80 guests. The aesthetic for the intimate wedding was drawn from Sandro Botticelli's iconic painting The Birth of Venus—the exact artwork in Florence’s Uffizi Gallery where Davis proposed to Parisi in June 2025.

The celebration incorporated elements honoring both Davis' Scottish heritage and Parisi's Italian roots. Davis wore custom Douglass Tartan attire while a bagpiper heralded his entrance, while Parisi wore a bespoke gown designed by Ashton Michael. Davis' Korn bandmates—guitarists James "Munky" Shaffer and Brian "Head" Welch, bassist Ra Diaz, and drummer Ray Luzier—were all in attendance.

"Our wedding was a perfect fairy tale," the couple shared. "We will never forget it."

The ceremony was followed by an oceanfront cocktail hour featuring skywriting over the Pacific Ocean, a five-course meal, and a gothic-influenced white wedding cake.

Just hours after Kim Dracula officially launched their new era with by dropping the single "Molecular Conversion," progressive mathcore band The Callous Daoboys took to social media to accuse the artist of lifting a breakdown from their catalog.

The Daoboys pointed out the structural similarities on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a side-by-side comparison clip contrasting the heavy section in Kim Dracula’s new track with a breakdown from their April 2026 single, "Gigantic Parasite Tongue."

"Cool breakdown @kimdrac glad you liked the song lol," The Callous Daoboys posted alongside the video comparison.

Daoboys frontman Carson Pace added fuel to the online banter shortly after, tweeting: "AI do the daoboys thing".

While the posts sparked heavy debate across the metalcore community over whether the moment was a direct bite, a genre coincidence, or harmless trolling, fans quickly pointed out that "Molecular Conversion" was written and filmed nearly a year ago—well before "Gigantic Parasite Tongue" was released. Pace has since clarified during a livestream that he was simply poking fun at the similar guitar chugs and pitch-bends.

Ghost has released the official trailer for their second feature-length collaboration with Trafalgar Releasing, 2 Big To Rig.

Captured live on 16mm film during two sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Palacio De Los Deportes in September 2025, the film transports viewers into the center of a crowd of nearly 40,000 fans. Unlike 2024’s narrative-driven box office hit Rite Here Rite Now, 2 Big To Rig focuses strictly on the live experience—delivering the only pro-shot footage of Papa V Perpetua and the Nameless Ghouls from their recent phone-free "Skeletour" world tour, alongside behind-the-scenes footage highlighting the crew.

The title 2 Big To Rig nods to the massive, complex production that brought the "Skeletour" era to a close in February 2026 after 70 dates across North America, Europe, and Mexico. The film was created as a love letter to fans, particularly those in markets where staging the full show wasn't logistically possible.

The setlist spans all six of Ghost’s studio albums—including 2025’s Billboard No. 1 album Skeletá—alongside standalone hits like "Mary On A Cross," "Kiss The Go-Goat," and "The Future Is A Foreign Land."
