In a recent interview with Kerrang!, the vocalist confirmed that while the band is currently working on the follow-up to last year's Vol. 1, they are not yet in a position where any of the material is finished.

McKinnon emphasized that the goal for the new installment is to create a standalone experience rather than a compilation of tracks left over from the previous sessions. He noted a desire for the two volumes to be viewed as distinct works, expressing an aim for fans to eventually "argue" over which release is superior. Additionally, the frontman highlighted an interest in using fan reactions from Vol. 1 to inform the songwriting process for Vol. 2, allowing the band to adjust their direction in real time.

The update follows the March 13 release of "ALWAYS LET YOU DOWN," a collaborative single between A Day To Remember and Bilmuri. McKinnon expressed high regard for Bilmuri’s Johnny Franck, stating he is open to future collaborations. While no release date for Vol. 2 has been set, the band is confirmed to perform at Download Festival in June 2026.

Soulfly was the target of a theft over the weekend, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The band reported that their rented U-Haul truck, which was in transit for their upcoming tour, was broken into by unknown individuals.

According to a social media alert issued by the band, the thieves made off with all of the group's stage backdrops and a personal bag belonging to a member of their road crew. The incident occurred just days before Soulfly is set to join GWAR as direct support on "The Gor Gor Strikes Back Tour," which is scheduled to kick off this Thursday, March 19, in Richmond, Virginia.

Despite the loss of their visual production gear, the band is currently moving forward with the 34-date North American trek, which also features King Parrot. Soulfly has urged anyone with information or who may see the suspicious items to contact them immediately as they navigate the start of their spring season.

Korn has announced a headline tour across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe for Autumn 2026.

The 19-date arena tour kicks off on October 18 in Stuttgart, Germany, and includes six shows across the UK and Ireland. The run will feature stops at major venues including the AO Arena in Manchester, Dublin’s 3Arena, and a final UK date at The O2 in London on November 4. British metalcore outfit Architects will join the entire tour as special guests, with Youth Code and Pixel Grip alternating as opening acts for different legs of the journey.

Tickets for the tour go on general sale this Friday, March 20, at 8:00 AM GMT, with an early access pre-sale for mailing list subscribers beginning Tuesday, March 17.

The announcement comes during a busy period for the band, who are also scheduled to headline Sick New World in Las Vegas next month and embark on a South American tour with Spiritbox in May.
