Deep Purple have officially unveiled the music video for their new single, "Arrogant Boy," the first taste of their upcoming studio album titled Splat!. Produced by the legendary Bob Ezrin (KISS, Pink Floyd), the album is scheduled to arrive on July 3 via earMUSIC. Frontman Ian Gillan described the lead track as the story of a character named Billy who enjoys "irritating the elite," while Classic Rock Germany has already compared the song's high-energy style to band classics like "Highway Star" and "Space Truckin'".

The new record is being hailed as the band's heaviest in many years, featuring the lineup of Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Don Airey, and Simon McBride. Recorded together in the studio to capture their signature dynamics, Splat! explores a philosophical concept conceived by Gillan regarding the metamorphosis of humanity beyond physical existence. To support the release, the rock icons will embark on a massive 2026 global tour consisting of 86 shows across 28 countries.
