Brian Johnson is finally releasing his new memoir, The Lives of Brian, next month.

The book, which is Johnson’s second book, is set for release on October 25 and is available for pre-order here. Johnson’s first book, Rockers and Rollers: A Full-Throttle Memoir, came out in 2011 and dealt more with Johnson’s affinity for cars.

The Lives of Brian was initially announced back in April 2021. At that time, it was slated for release in October of that year. As previously reported, The Lives of Brian will delve into Johnson’s life growing up in New Castle Upon Tyne, England. It’ll also touch on his pre-AC/DC music career and finally joining the band following Bon Scott’s untimely death and recording Back in Black.

When the book was first announced last year, Johnson said in a statement on the book, “I’ve had some long nights and some great nights, some bad days and a lot of good days, and during that time I’ve gone from choirboy to rock & roll singer, and now I’ve gone and written a bloody book about it.”

Johnson is coming off a high-profile performance over the weekend at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at London’s Wembley Stadium. The singer was joined by Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich and the Foo Fighters. Together, they played two AC/DC songs: “Back In Black” (with Darkness singer Justin Hawkins) and “Let There Be Rock.”
