Metallica had someone on their team try to give away passes to the Snake Pit at a recent show. The semi-awkward exchange was filmed and shared via social media, and it’s pretty funny.
The video below is shot POV-style, so you see someone extend their hand with two Snake Pit wristbands. Many people are clearly skeptical. However, they just might be weirded out over someone trying to hand them something while filming the exchange.
Some people simply don’t engage with the person trying to give away passes, while other people politely decline the offer. Those who do engage clearly can’t believe their luck.
The video is captioned, “Didn’t think we needed to say this, but if someone approaches you with Snake Pit passes… take them!”
One person in the comment section of the video was a lucky recipient of this Snake Pit lottery. He wrote, “THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for doing this!!! My son and I were walking to our regular seats when this Metallica angel appeared and handed us Snake Pit tickets. I man-hugged him! Because of this, my 10-year-old boy…at his first Metallica concert…got a sweatband placed onto his arm by James Hetfield and lost his mind. This will be one of his top experiences in his life! LA Sofi 8/25.”
