Digital Noise Mag recently attended, Alec Benjamin‘s Outrunning Karma Tour, in Philadelphia, Pa. on April 12, 2019 at Union Transfer. The 24-year-old pop singer-songwriter, has a unique sound in this era of the pop-music world. He has a cinematic, lo-fi sound, that automatically just sways you to the sound his music. Landing a record label by the age of 18 then being dropped immediately after releasing his first album, his dream of becoming an artist did not change but his approach to achieve it did. He began performing outside concert venues of well known artists like Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan shows. Benjamin has grabbed every opportunity to show why his music deserves to be heard. His career then soared to fame in 2018 after the release of his single “Let Me Down Slowly”. Which streamed at 2million within the first week, now currently over 100 million & hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his remix of the song featuring Alessia Cara. And in the meantime this young narrator is just getting started in the music world, & this won’t be the last time we’ll be seeing him!
