‘Amy Winehouse At The BBC’ Gets A Deluxe Reissue

Amy Winehouse At The BBC

Amy Winehouse’s posthumous live collection, Amy Winehouse At The BBC, is getting a deluxe reissue on May 7, with a 3LP and 3CD collection chronicling the many remarkable performances by arguably the greatest and most genuine talent to emerge in British music in decades.

Originally released as a box set in 2012, this updated release offer audio-only versions of the songs featured on A Tribute To Amy Winehouse by Jools Holland and the BBC One Sessions Live at Porchester Hall, along with a number of tracks making their streaming debut.

“Stronger Than Me,” “Tears Dry On Their Own,” and “You Know I’m No Good” will be available on streaming services from March 24, while the video for “Stronger Than Me” will make its debut on YouTube. This comprehensive collection captures the unique relationship that Amy enjoyed with the BBC and encapsulates what made her such a captivating performer.

Amy Winehouse At The BBC also includes Amy’s earliest BBC Radio sessions, music from her first-ever TV performances, as well as unheard gems, rarities, unique covers, and live versions of classic songs from “Frank” and “Back To Black”. The set also includes a beautifully illustrated 20-page booklet featuring rare photographs.

“This live CD shows all of her brilliance and promise, her command and vitality, and much of that is shown on the videos as well, which also focus on the time when the world seemed to be Winehouse’s for the taking,” wrote AllMusic in their initial review.

Like Amy’s three previous albums, this collection will prove, once more, a fitting tribute to her peerless artistry, phenomenal talent, and extraordinary powers as a songwriter, a singer, and an interpreter of classics.

Amy Winehouse At The BBC  is out on May 7 and can be pre-ordered here. View full tracklisting below.
