Anderson .Paak, Missy Elliott, Kali Uchis, And More To Headline LETSGETFR.EE Carnaval

LETSGETFR.EE Carnaval is taking place at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, the home of the very first World’s Fair, with a lineup that will include Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Missy Elliott, Kali Uchis, Wizkid, Ozuna, Jhené Aiko, YEИDRY, Jorja Smith, and more.

Matthew Morgan, the founder, and ex-head of the wildly popular, global AFROPUNK festivals along with partner Jocelyn Cooper and in partnership with global creative agency Anomaly, have announced the inaugural edition of their new concept LETSGETFR.EE for August 20 and 21 with an opening night gala on the 19th.

Other artists set to appear include El Alfa, Ferg, Lido Pimienta, Teezo Touch Down, Flatbush Zombies, Tems, ​​Bomba Estéreo, Priya Ragu, Tiwa Savage, Major Lazer Sound System, Bas, Heavy Balie, GoldLink, and many more, with stages curated by VP Records, Noir Fever and D36, a newly launched community platform for South Asian stories and music. The D36 Stage will feature Jai Wolf (DJ Set) and guests.

LETSGETFR.EE is the largest diversity-focused, purpose-driven music experience in the US. Its mission is to close the equity gap for Black, Brown, Asian, and other underrepresented people in the entertainment industry, with the aim of achieving a diversified workforce across all levels in the industry by 2030. Set in the heart of the most diverse county in the world, Queens, NY, the two-day event consists of Party Stage (experiences hosted by El Alfa, Missy Elliott, Anderson .Paak and a Special Mystery Artist), moving Trio stages; Pavilions edutainment programming, and so much more. Staying true to its commitment to equity, LETSGETFR.EE breaks the mold of traditional festivals by offering a “choose your own adventure” ticketing structure and making ticket access affordable to every community that it celebrates.
