Avatar is hitting the road for a U.S. tour this spring to promote their new album, *Don’t Go in the Forest*. The tour kicks off on April 16 in Sacramento, California, and wraps up on May 20 in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
Frontman Johannes Eckerström shared a glimpse into the album’s theme, saying, “It started off innocently enough. Hiking along on a trail. Sunny. Pleasant. Safe. Then night came, and the trail slowly faded. You can’t go back, as you don’t know where you came from. You don’t even dare to turn around, as you can feel someone, or something, watching. Here, it’s just you and the trees.”
Fans can look forward to seeing the band live, as Eckerström promises, “We will be seeing you.”
