Avenged Sevenfold has released pro-shot footage from their June 9, 2014, performance at the Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands. The clip went live on March 21 and marks their second and final appearance at this annual event.
The band played a nine-track set that got the crowd moving. M. Shadows took care of the vocals, while Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates rocked the guitars. Johnny Christ played bass, and Brooks Wackerman was on drums.
Avenged Sevenfold first burst onto the scene with their debut album, *Sounding the Seventh Trumpet*, showcasing a metalcore style. They continued this sound with *Waking the Fallen*. Their third album, *City of Evil*, was their first major label release and marked a shift towards traditional heavy metal. They pushed their sound even further with their self-titled album, achieving mainstream success. Sadly, the band faced a tragedy when original drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan passed away in 2009.
This summer, Avenged Sevenfold will hit the road for a North American tour, joined by Good Charlotte. The tour kicks off on July 25 at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri. They will then perform at Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota, on July 27, followed by a show in Tinley Park, Illinois, on July 30.
The band will also play in St. Louis on August 1, Clarkston, Michigan, on August 4, and then head to Canada for shows in Toronto on August 6 and Montreal on August 8. East Coast dates include Belmont Park, New York, on August 10, Mansfield, Massachusetts, on August 12, and Camden, New Jersey, on August 14. They will wrap up that leg in Charlotte on August 16 and Tampa on August 18. Additional shows in Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix are also planned, with the final performance at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on August 30, featuring A Day To Remember and more.
Stay tuned for all the dates and ticket links!
