Billy Joel’s ‘We Didn’t Start The Fire’ Gets Reworked to Explain History of Scotch Whisky

Billy Joel and his hit single “We Didn’t Start The Fire” has achieved various levels of infamy over the years, but one very clever YouTube channel has decided to use this historic song to summarize the history of Scotch whisky.

YouTube Channel Whiskey and Wisdom recently shared “The History of Scotch Whisky,” an informative track done in the style of “We Didn’t Start The Fire.” The song’s description on YouTube simply reads, “An amusing song and video that tells the history of Scotch whisky in just four minutes.” Frankly, we’d have to agree.

In truth, more historical topics should also be explained in the style of “We Didn’t Start The Fire.” Learning via earworm would help in retaining information.
