Blink-182 Announce New Album ‘One More Time…’

Blink-182’s reunion has been one of the hottest tours of the summer, and now the band has announced a new album, coming out next month. One More Time… will be the first record with the classic lineup of Mark Hoppus (bass, vocals), Tom DeLonge (guitar, vocals) and Travis Barker (drums) since 2011’s Neighborhoods. They announced the album with a brief trailer, which you can watch here (it is a bit NSFW).

The trailer has some interview footage of all three members of the band speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and it gets rather candid. DeLonge speaks about his decision to leave the band in 2015. He notes that he had told his wife that he might not ever play music again. But when he learned that Hoppus was battling blood cancer, Tom said that playing music with his friends was “the only thing that I want to do.”

Barker muses over the question of “Why does it take these catastrophes like me being in a plane crash or Mark being sick for our band to get back together?” Barker was nearly killed in a September 2008 plane crash. Hoppus also describes how his chemotherapy “wrecked” his vocal chords and that he had to train with a vocal coach to recover.

Per their press release, the band recorded One More Time… while on their reunion tour. Travis Barker produced the album, which features 17 new songs. The songs include:

1. “Anthem Part 3”
2. “Dance With Me”
3. “Fell In Love”
4. “Terrified”
5. “One More Time”
6. “More Than You Know”
7. “Turn This Off!
8. “When We Were Young”
9. “Edging”
10. “You Don’t Know What You’ve Got”
11. “Blink Wave”
12. “Bad News”
13. “Hurt (Interlude)”
14. “Turpentine”
15. “F— Face”
16. “Other Side”
17. “Childhood”

The first single will be “One More Time,” which will be out this Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. There will also be an official music video.

Blink-182 Reunites with Tom DeLonge, Fans Are Feeling This

Blink-182 has made it official: Tom DeLonge is back, new music is on the way and they’re hitting the road for a massive tour.

The trio announced the news via the video below in which they confirmed: “They’re coming.” (Get it?) Oh, and a new studio album is also coming with the first single, “Edging,” due out this Friday, October 14 and is available for pre-save/pre-add here. (Call it a hunch, but I don’t think the song is about lawn maintenance.)

As for their tour, tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, October 17 at 10 AM local time. In addition to their own headlining reunion tour, blink-182 will be hitting up a number of festivals including Lollapalooza in Argentina and Brazil and 2023’s When We Were Young. A full list of tour dates is below.

As expected, the loyal blink fanbase collectively lost their minds when all of this news is confirmed. You can see their joy in all its glory in the tweets below.
