Brothers Osborne, Darius Rucker Join ACM’s Party For A Cause

Brothers Osborne and Darius Rucker will be part of the bill for the Academy of Country Music’s ACM Party for a Cause, which returns to Nashville on August 23 at Ascend Amphitheater in aid of ACM’s Lifting Lives program.

Other performers on the fundraiser include Blanco Brown, Travis Denning, Sara Evans, and Caylee Hammack, with more names to be added soon. The event takes place a day before the 15th annual ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium, which will celebrate such stars as Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain, and Morgan Wallen.

Last year’s Party for a Cause, which took place in Nashville for the first time, included performances by Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Mickey Guyton, Sam Hunt, Old Dominion, and special guests Tenille Townes, and Trisha Yearwood.

Lyndsay Cruz, ACM Lifting Lives executive director, says in a statement: “We’re so excited to be back in Music City for our second year of Party for a Cause at Ascend Amphitheater. Just like last year, we plan to bring the party to Nashville during a great night of music all for a good cause. We’re so grateful to the artists who participate in this show, giving back to the country music community, and giving fans the opportunity to experience a show they can’t see anywhere else.”

General tickets go on sale on Friday (24) via Ticketmaster, with a limited number of VIP tickets also available. Lifting Lives is ACM’s philanthropic arm dedicated to improving lives via partnerships with artists and strong ties to the music industry, fueled by donations and support of artists and fans. It funds music health programs and serves members of the music community facing unexpected hardships through its Diane Holcomb Emergency Relief Fund. Specifically, ACM’s Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund distributed more than $3.5 million to members of the country music community in need.
