As previously reported, Springsteen is appearing on a new studio album Mellencamp is working on. In fact, the two singer/songwriters were spotted together in a restaurant in Bloomington, Ind., where Mellencamp lives, back in April.

A tweet from a local woman also gained decent attention that stated, “A friend just texted me that her son who works in a restaurant in Bloomington texted her and said Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp just walked in, and all I can think is ain’t that America” She would follow that up with,”And the Boss is a generous tipper.”
