Bruce Springsteen Plays Supportive Husband to Patti Scialfa in the Studio

Bruce Springsteen has no problem showing support for his wife, Patti Scialfa, and her new music.

Scialfa shared a clip from the recording studio on her Instagram recently. She captioned the clip, “Bruce reacting to Steve Jordan’s drum fill in the final mix of my song ‘Winning Side’ mixed by Rich Costa and co-produced with the inimitable Ron Aniello- RON JA…Love and thanks to all of you guys.”

There are not enough words to fully describe Bruce’s reaction in the clip below, but it’s just awesome. So far, there’s no word on when Scialfa will release her new music. Her last studio album, Play It As It Lays, was released in 2007. She released two albums prior to that LP: 1993’s Rumble Doll and 2004’s 23rd Street Lullaby.

In other Bruce and Patti news: The new rock stars recently became grandparents. As previously reported, Scialfa confirmed she and Bruce are now grandparents via Instagram in July. She shared two photos: The first showing son, Sam Springsteen, and the baby’s mother. The second photo is of the new granddaughter. She captioned the post, “walking the baby_. Lily Harper Springsteen.”

Scialfa’s shared in a prior Instagram post Sam and his partner wearing a beautiful diamond ring and holding a bouquet of flowers. She captioned that post, “July 1, 2022 – beautiful day at the farm.” It was not made clear whether the two new parents were married on that date, but it’s certainly implied.

Sam Springsteen, 28, is the youngest of Bruce and Patti’s three children. In January 2020, Sam was sworn into the Jersey City Fire Department.
