Everclear is on tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album *Sparkle and Fade*, and now the album is getting a special anniversary edition. The 30th anniversary remastered deluxe edition will be released on October 31. It will be available digitally and on two translucent kelly green vinyl LPs.
This expanded edition features remastered versions of all 14 original tracks, along with alternate versions, fan favorites, and original demos. It also includes cover songs recorded around the same time as the album, like Tom Petty’s “American Girl” and INXS’ “Don’t Change.” You can preorder the album now.
Released in 1995, *Sparkle and Fade* was Everclear’s debut album. It includes the hit “Santa Monica” and the song “Heroin Girl.” The cover showcases childhood photos of the band members, and the songs draw inspiration from frontman Art Alexakis’ challenging youth.
