Before Metallica hits the stage at Sphere in October, Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox tested out the venue’s sound with some heavy metal. She joined DJ and producer Illenium during his ongoing residency at the Las Vegas venue. Together, they performed their 2022 collaboration, “Shivering.” You can check out clips of their performance on Illenium’s Instagram.
Illenium’s residency is in support of his latest album, ODYSSEY, which features a collaboration with Bring Me the Horizon.
This isn’t the first time LaPlante has surprised fans with a special guest appearance. She previously teamed up with rapper Megan Thee Stallion at Coachella 2025 to perform their track, “TYG,” live for the first time.
