Connie Francis, the legendary singer, saw a big comeback in the months before her passing this summer. Now, her legacy lives on with a new vinyl reissue of her holiday album, *Christmas In My Heart*. Originally released in 1959, this album features two sides that capture the spirit of the season.
Side A includes six classic Christmas songs, like “White Christmas” and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.” Side B offers more traditional tracks, including “Adeste Fidelis (O Come All Ye Faithful)” and “Ave Maria.”
By the time the album was reissued as *Connie’s Christmas* in 1966, Francis had already released the holiday hit “I’m Gonna Be Warm This Winter” in 1962. While it was a modest success back then, the song gained new life when Gabriella Climi covered it in 2009 and Kylie Minogue in 2015.
Connie Francis was a major star in the 1950s and ‘60s. She first hit the charts in 1958 with “Who’s Sorry Now” and quickly became a pop sensation. In 1960, she became the first woman to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool.” She topped the charts again with hits like “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own” and “Don’t Break the Heart That Loves You.”
Recently, her 1962 song “Pretty Little Baby” went viral on TikTok, leading her to join the platform to thank her fans. The song is now available for pre-order on a vintage-style baby pink 7” single, backed with “Who’s Sorry Now,” set to release on August 29. Don’t miss out on ordering *Christmas In My Heart* now!
