Dave Grohl has offered a peek at his upcoming memoir, The Storyteller, via a new trailer.
Embedded below, the trailer contains video throughout Grohl’s life, from when he was a young child to present day as everyone’s favorite rock star.
“I’ve never really been one to collect stuff, but I do collect moments,” says Grohl at the beginning of the clip. “My life flashes before my eyes every single day. And in writing this book, I’ve tried to capture those moments as best I can.”
He then explains that The Storyteller came to be during the lockdown from the coronavirus pandemic, because it was the first time he never had anything to do. This led him to launch his Instagram (@davestruestories), which then evolved into his new book that comes out on October 5 and is currently available for pre-order here.
