Dream Theater has announced a new live album titled *Quarantième: Live à Paris*. This album captures their November 2024 concert in Paris, part of their 40th anniversary tour. It was a special show, marking the first live performance since founding drummer Mike Portnoy rejoined the band in 2023.
Portnoy shared his excitement, saying, “We always knew this tour would be unforgettable. We were celebrating four decades of the band and the reunion of our classic lineup. The energy and emotions between us and our fans were incredible at every show!” He added, “The night in Paris was epic, and we’re thrilled to share it with the world.”
*Quarantième: Live à Paris* will be released on November 28. Fans can check out performances of “Overture 1928” and “Strange Déjà Vu” on YouTube.
Currently, Dream Theater is touring the U.S. to support their new album, *Parasomnia*, which is their first record with Portnoy in 16 years.
