Elton John Previews ‘Tiny Dancer’ Remake Ft. Britney Spears

Elton John has shared a preview of his remake of “Tiny Dancer” featuring Britney Spears.

The icon shared a clip via social media and said the full track will be released on Friday, August 26. The track, which is titled “Hold Me Closer,” is available for pre-save on digital platforms here.

News of the “Tiny Dancer” remake broke last month via Page SixThe gossip outlet quoted an insider saying, “This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet — and it is incredible. Britney was in the studio in Beverly Hills last week with Elton for the super-secret recording session overseen by uber-producer Andrew Watt.”

Sir Elton is no stranger to collaborating with younger pop stars. He released a holiday track with Ed Sheeran last December. Two months prior, he released his album The Lockdown Sessions which featured Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, Charlie Puth, and more.
