FKA twigs is back with exciting news! Fresh off her GRAMMY® nomination for EUSEXUA and a win for Rolling Stone UK’s The Album Award, she has announced the Body High tour. This Live Nation-promoted tour will showcase her latest music from EUSEXUA and EUSEXUA Afterglow, along with her entire discography, across North America, the UK, and Europe.
The North American leg will feature a performance at Coachella and a highly anticipated show in Mexico City. The UK and European leg kicks off in June 2024. To celebrate the tour announcement, twigs has released a new music video for “Love Crimes,” directed by Jordan Hemingway.
The Body High tour promises to highlight FKA twigs’ incredible talents in martial arts, opera, visual arts, vogueing, pole-dancing, and her classical dance training. She made her debut as a dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company in 2024. The tour starts on March 14th and will offer immersive performances that dive deep into the essence of EUSEXUA.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow, December 2nd, at 10 AM local time for artist pre-sale. You can sign up at laylo.com/fkatwigs. General sales begin on December 5th at 10 AM local time. Supporting acts will include Brutalismus 3000, Eartheater, Tokischa, and Yves Tumor on select dates.
Originally planned as a deluxe album, Afterglow turned into a full project that blends techno with playful and unique beats. It showcases FKA twigs’ growth as an artist, combining elements from her past works. The album, released in November, has attracted a new audience from the rave and club scenes.
EUSEXUA, a term created by twigs, describes the moment before an orgasm, representing focus and nothingness. She shared that this concept reflects how she wants to live her life. The album is a tribute to the feelings dance music brings her and was produced by twigs and her collaborator Koreless, with contributions from other talented producers.
