FLASHBACK: Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington Perform ‘Hunger Strike’

Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington will forever be linked.

Cornell would’ve turned 57 today (July 20), while Bennington passed away four years ago today. Their shocking deaths by suicide were separated by mere months and is made only more painful considering Bennington sang at Cornell’s funeral.

Both men were unique voices for their generation that stood out from the rest. What better way to honor them than by looking back to when they joined forces and shared a stage in 2008 when Cornell and Linkin Park toured together.

Here are Cornell and Bennington performing the Temple of the Dog hit “Hunger Strike.”
