FLASHBACK: Lars Ulrich’s Rock Hall Acceptance Speech

Today (December 26) is Lars Ulrich’s birthday, so it seems appropriate to look back on one of the biggest moments in his career when Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.

Lars’ speech was short, straight to the point and incredibly poignant, especially at the end when he thanked his father, Torben, for giving him a great, fulfilling childhood.  Who can’t help but tear up along with him?
