Congrats are in order for Flea and his wife, Melody Ehsani, as the couple recently welcomed their first child together.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist told E! News at the premiere of the new film Babylon that his fashion designer wife gave birth on December 12. He said, “I’m very happy. I haven’t been doing a lot of sleeping, but I’ve been doing a lot of floating on a cloud of love.”
This is Ehsani’s first child and the third child for Flea. His other children include Clara, 34, with ex-wife Loesha Zeviar, and Sunny Bebop, 17, from his relationship with Frankie Rayder. Flea and Ehsani married in October 2019.
Ehsani announced the pregnancy in July via Instagram with a series of photos showing off her baby bump. She playfully captioned the photos, “I’ve put on a couple pounds.”
